Its like farming not hunting. So think of it as planting seeds, watering them and nurturing the plants that grow.

Go to many events, stand by the food or drink and sooner or later someone will speak to you.

Identify someone you have met before and start with them.

Do not sell. Its an opportunity to get others to sell your products to others.

Just talk to anyone about anything to get started.

Ask questions: Why are you here?

Get there early and don’t be afraid to start talking to people. They will be glad you made the first move.

Don’t drink alcohol.

Repetition builds reputation. Keep people aware you are around.

Be generous with time, advice, information and contacts. Give and you will get.
